HKS Super Drager exhaust
HKS Super Drager exhaust
Does anyone have a HKS Super Drager exhaust on their IS?
I would like to know how you have got it installed (cat back or rear muffler only) and how it sounds.
My GF has bought me a HKS muffler for my birthday and I am having it installed on Friday, but I am undecided on whether to have a cat back install and remove the silencers or just swap out the muffler section. I want a good exhaust note without making my ears bleed.

21-07-2016, 02:17 AM #5The "cat back" just means an extra bit of pipe to where the cat is, doesn't it, so shouldn't really make any difference ? Or am I misunderstanding ?

Also as you're getting this custom done it will probably sound slightly different to a Super Drager for the IS as it will be dependant on the way they route the pipework, as well as the diameter they use etc.
If you go cat back bear in mind you'll be removing the silencer which will add more noise.

I didn't realise they are that rare???? I have the HKS Hiper on mine and i thought that was relatively rare as i haven't seen many others but can't be certain??? I have the HKS hiper, not the HKS Hiper Silent before people post up!

I have heard a few with the Super dragger and it sounds great!!!!!!!!! Not too loud but just enough for it to sound great and not like every other chav car with a huge exhaust!
