As I pointed out at the Ace meet, something had dripped onto my front wing, possibly causing lacquer damage, the Polish boys at the hand car wash had used a light cutting compound and removed some damage but no where near all of it.

So Today I had a go with T-Cut, and the bumper damage cleared up after 10 mins of use, but the wing was still not clearing up at all so looking more and more like a more serious bit of damage, and time to get the paints out........... Well we are doing the rear spoiler so adding the wing isn't that much of an issue.

So looking round Dads garage, to see what is in there, I came across some 2000 grit wet and dry - a sudden thought crosses my mind, its damaged anyway so why not sand out the damage and hope some lacquer is still there afterwards......................

Low and behold all damage gone after a bit of wet sanding, went over with T-cut to smooth the paint out again and then some polish job done, total cost $0 and it looks perfectly fine as though nothing happened. My kind of repair.

US keyboard though. The Yanks don't think there is another currency so there isn't a pound symbol on this PC.
