What's your winter car?
What's your winter car?
Apologies if its been done already but as the title says what's your winter car for when it gets all icy/snowy (if you have one)?
I know I plan on going most places sideways in my MR2 (providing I can actually get off the drive) if it gets bad as I don't have any alternative except to scrounge a lift off my mother and her Mazda 2.
Would be interesting to see what you guys n girls use to get around. Might even give me some inspiration in case I ever have to get a winter hack (could be quite likely as im after a 350z next!).
Oh and :ttiuwp:
Matt.
I use my honda accord euro.. which gets about just fine in snow but last year the landrovers in my road did make deep ruts which made the ridge in the middle higher and I had front bumper getting over it trouble
I don't have the luxury of a winter car, but my IS200 with the standard bridgestones managed okay through the apparently 'arctic winter' we had.
It just takes common sense, don't floor it, and smooth correction of oversteer and it's no problem
I'm a bit worried my soon to be lowered IS + the Legana bumper might turn itself into a snow scoop if it gets bad though
oOOH, Pop over to MK and scoop the snow from my house to my work for me please
