11-10-2018, 04:00 PM #1I've worked on cars for years,(not anymore) and watched numerous windscreens fitted, but I never heard of a windscreen dam. Can someone explain?

Google doe's not have the answer to everything. No matter how hard I tried it kept going to damage!! I think 2Tongues got it right... Thanks for the input guys.

Also used it to redirect water under a scuttle plate of the old Ford Focus to stop water getting into the cabin filter and pooling on the passanger footwell.

I just found a pick of the stuff, its a foam type strip that we used to use for inside the bond to stop headlining touching and to make sure the screen didn't go to low againts the body.
