Exhaust or springs?
Exhaust or springs?
Was thinking of getting a set of the TTE lowering springs, but now looking at getting a TTE exhaust instead as I've always thought they looked great and still looking for a slight engine note improvement while still keeping things subtle......
Question is, which should I go for if just choosing one for now? How much does it cost to have an exhaust fitted?
exhaust then save for coilovers
Gord Should cost about £20 to have tte back box fitted mate
ps please make sure you get the right back box as they do 2 different one's, one has short tip end and one long tip end, your best with the short one mate :thumbup1:

Cheers mate, does it not look how it does in this document?

Not the best pic but it looks spot on from that angle, but if it does stick out further then you might be right......will pop over the other side to check out Bazza's car, do you have a pic of the longer pipe with the TTE skirt?
Looking at this it does look well, have asked Bazza if he has anymore pics of it from different angles but might need to go for that one instead then as it does look almost perfectly flush with the edge of the skirt......
Does that mean the TTE exhaust is already longer than the standard exhaust? Mine currently looks lost behind the skirt
Isn't the longer one, the one that's "supposed" to go with the TTE lip ? i.e. so the short one without the lip and the long one with the lip both stick out the same amount ?
But fair enough if you prefer the look of the short one with the TTE lip.
Gord Mine was a good 2inch further out mate with the same lip fitted hock:Hmmm, yes then I think it's best to go with the shorter one. I'll give TTE a ring again tomorrow to ask what the difference in length between the two is, anything more than 1/2 - 1" longer would definitely be too long.
