Was thinking of getting a set of the TTE lowering springs, but now looking at getting a TTE exhaust instead as I've always thought they looked great and still looking for a slight engine note improvement while still keeping things subtle......

Question is, which should I go for if just choosing one for now? How much does it cost to have an exhaust fitted?

Gord Should cost about £20 to have tte back box fitted mate
ps please make sure you get the right back box as they do 2 different one's, one has short tip end and one long tip end, your best with the short one mate :thumbup1:

Really? Is it quite simple to fit then?

Are you sure it's the short one? Spoke to TTE earlier today and they said to get the long one as I've got a TTE skirt..........on a separate note the guys at TTE are really friendly!

Cheers mate, does it not look how it does in this document?

http://www.tte.de/downloads/brochures/Le...0cross.pdf

Not the best pic but it looks spot on from that angle, but if it does stick out further then you might be right......will pop over the other side to check out Bazza's car, do you have a pic of the longer pipe with the TTE skirt?

Looking at this it does look well, have asked Bazza if he has anymore pics of it from different angles but might need to go for that one instead then as it does look almost perfectly flush with the edge of the skirt......

Does that mean the TTE exhaust is already longer than the standard exhaust? Mine currently looks lost behind the skirt

Isn't the longer one, the one that's "supposed" to go with the TTE lip ? i.e. so the short one without the lip and the long one with the lip both stick out the same amount ?

But fair enough if you prefer the look of the short one with the TTE lip.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Gord Mine was a good 2inch further out mate with the same lip fitted Confusedhock:
Hmmm, yes then I think it's best to go with the shorter one. I'll give TTE a ring again tomorrow to ask what the difference in length between the two is, anything more than 1/2 - 1" longer would definitely be too long.

Yep that's the odd part, but given the photo of Bazza's car it does appear that the short one must be quite a bit longer than the standard exhaust, which would mean that on a car with a standard bumper it would also stick out a fair amount.

I'll have to see if I can find a pic of that as well to confirm this........
