TRL Stage 3 achieves more accurate fuelling, increased midrange power, improved throttle response and the full 585bhp through the use of our larger Performance Intake kit. This kit features large capacity Pipercross cone filters which will receive cold air around the whole of the filter from behind the front bumper. Smooth Mandrel bent pipe work insures optimum air flow to allow the engine to breath as freely as possible. The intake kit also includes a larger diameter CNC machined MAF housing. This allows for greater ECU map resolution at higher power levels where the smaller OEM housing is not able to allow accurate airflow measurement. As with the Stage 2 upgrade it also features the Milltek Y-pipe and exhaust system and includes new ECU calibration for the larger intakes.

Stage 4 - 610bhp TRL Developments Power Upgrade
Stage 4 provides an incredible 610bhp. Our Stage 4 kit features the larger Bosch Motorsport 1,100cc injectors and our upgraded twin fuel pump kit to insure the engine receives the correct amount of fuel under all conditions. Why, because at power levels over 590-600bhp the standard fuel injectors would be at 100% duty cycle leading to lack of control over the fuelling requirements and injector overheating, much reduced injector life and possible engine damage. These Bosch Motorsport injectors have a much improved spray pattern so fuel consumption and driveability are as good, if not better than the standard OEM 570cc injectors. These are the same injectors we use in our 800bhp conversions.
As with the Stage 3 upgrade it also features the Milltek Y-pipe, exhaust system, large bore intake kit and a new ECU calibration for the larger injectors.

Stage 5 unleashes 625bhp from this amazing engine by adding the Millteks hand fabricated Stainless steel downpipes. The downpipes are purposely over engineered to insure increased performance and reliability. Each down pipe features a large collector to provide the best possible gas flow with TIG welded high durability 321 stainless. The focus is then on long term reliability, which is particularly important on the GTR as working on the turbo area is so time consuming.
The down pipes are a match to Millteks Y-pipe and rear silencers. All are designed to be free flowing whilst maintaining a sensible noise level.

The most popular option is to run the hybrid VF34 ball bearing core with our larger billet compressor wheel. This unit is also produced by IHI, the fitment is as the standard turbos, meaning the excellent standard oil and water lines can be retained. We have also performed a number of conversions using larger garret turbos which we would discuss with you individually to make sure we get the ideal combination to suit your personal requirements.
At this level to compliment the larger turbos we recommend switching to an improved intercooler design. We have selected the upgraded Forge Motorsport Intercooler, as our testing has shown that at higher power levels the standard intercoolers can become overwhelmed. After considerable trials, we have developed the most efficient intercooler design for the GTR and along with an overall increase in dimensions we have been able to improve the cooling ability and achieve a reduction in pressure loss across the intercoolers when compared with stock equipment.
The Stage 6 Power upgrade includes:
