Got two spots in the same place on both sides of the car. On the cill right next to the rear wheel. Great! My car is a '99 so I take it I am out of manufactures warranty?
They are just bubbles in the paint at the moment, will post up some pics later if it stops raining. Is it a big job for a spray shop or can it be sorted quite cheaply?
Arrg! On top of everything else recently, my car has decided to start corroding away!

It's a 12 year warranty so I'd say you're just out of it unfortunately - worth asking a dealer anyway saying it's so close the cars shouldn't rust as soon as they're out of warranty

sorry to hear the issues u seem to be having James but i would get it sorted before it gets any worse than it is

And now tax'd and insured for another year. Taking it for MOT once I got my rear shock sorted, and then its just a case of rust to get sorted asap. Then i might actually be able to spend some money on modifcations rather then keeping it on the road! LOL!
Cheers Lexuspat, yeah I have had no end of problems with my car recently. Its doing my head in, and so close to selling it. Foung out I have key cover on my car insurance though, so going to try put a claim in for the broken transponder.

Well I'm sure a lot of us with lexus go through a stage of that feeling, I for one am waiting to get the front end sprayed as I seem to have lost all the Laq on the front bumper so just slowly watching it get worse
