LFA style cluster interesting
This post got me thinking, so i did some research. For around £12 off flea-bay you can get an ODBII bluetooth interface. Then for £19 you can purchase Dash Command from Android Market or iTunes. Once installed you can then install the LFA skin to get the dash dials.

I'm currently trying to figure out how i'm going to implement this into my IS200. Any suggestions ?
Android tablet pc off eBay then mate sounds like the best option.
toxo Or you could get your OBD adaptor and spend £3 on Torque... I'm sure there's an LFA skin for it somewhere and it's a lot more useful!

Yeah I do, I used to work with him and lived with his brother for a bit! You're right, he is a sound bloke.
Have a poke around with a file manager on your android device and pull the .torque folder off the filesystem. That's where it stores the settings. You should be able to open (some) of the files in a text editor to see what settings it's storing. That said, the passkey may be encrypted.
If you close and reopen torque does it remember the settings? i.e. does it only forget them on a full reboot?
The thing is, it's now built into the car, so to plug anything in is a major hassle. Everything has to be done over wifi.
I've not asked on torque forums because to be honest, Ian has always got back to me very quick.
The mad thing is now, it'll connect to dash command no problem, but it would appear the problem lies within the android os itself. I have had it connect to torque so i know it works, but all i'm getting in the android os settings now is 'paired, but not connected'
Nothing i do will sort it, I've deleted the device, restarted etc etc, it's the same thing.
I'm gonna try with my other tablet, and if it works, delete everything and start again (over wifi!) in the car. (or i could just leave the very slow dash command as the default gauges, it's pretty, but flaming slow!
