Hi Guys,

I am going to need to strengthen my auto transmission, with hopefully a valve body upgrade or at least change the springs to rods, pending engine upgrades, so wondered if people could recommend a good place, prefereably near-ish to me in the south west (Bristol).

Thanks for the replies, mine is a 300, I am gonna be looking at around 350bhp at the wheels and am told by swift racing that it would be best to do a VB upgrade. Although I am not sure how strong the 300's tranny is, roughly i think it'll be maxing at that figure.

Interested in the boostlogic rebuilt supra boxes Stav, do you know how much they are?

Would be worth checking the US forums as to how far they've pushed the IS300 auto box before it breaks - although of course they do have a manual option there too.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Believe me I have been trying to find this out but can't seem to get a definitive answer, people all seem to have different opinions, my searching of stuff isn't great but it would seem to be that 350hp is the most consistent number that crops up. Unless of course you show me different

Do you want to keep the auto box, or would you consider a manual conversion ?

Wouldn't mind keeping it but would consider a manual conversion for sure.
