Marsdendean Nothing to do with the club but i didn't think it was good as the last time i went (2009). Didn't think there was as many clubs, not many people watching the events etc and i thought the one at castle comb was better in 2009 than JAE last year . . . .
Nothing to do with the club as i said just thought last year it took nose dive. I know 99% of people will disagree but people are entitled to there opinions . . . . .
Feedback like that is what I need for when I go and have my meeting regarding the shows, most people had a good time etc but all agreed that there ws not enough traders for example so this has changed for this year, as with last year the recession has hit a lot of people some can't afford a whole weekend of food and drink tickets etc.
As for events in 2009 steviewevie organised the events and we had people competing and had a great laugh past 2 years we as a club have not entered many events as no one wanted to step into the shoes and arrange the events for the club, if we can get someone to deal with this and get some teams together I'm sure it will be better.

23-12-2018, 04:42 AM #27Lots more traders (including a rolling road) was booked by they didn't turn up as the weather was bad the week before and they all thought it was going to be poor over the weekend, although it actually turned out really nice (apart from the downpour on the Saturday lol)
