I just wondered if a manual conversion was perhaps cheaper than upgrading the auto box. I have no idea if this is the case though, just guessing.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

DJ Wozza Apologies re IS200/IS300 mix up :o

B15RUP has just over 300bhp but I think it is at the crank not the wheels.
350bhp at the wheels would mean over 400bhp at the crank or so wouldn't it ?

No worries Smile and yes it would be approx 420bhp at the crank, not a bad increase,

An example on an IS300 using same setup is -

'Max Boost 16 PSI Holding. 93 Octane 446.85 RWHP 379.35 RWTQ That is an increase of over 270+ RWHP! from the stock 170RWHP a gain of 163% or about 17.3RWHP/PSI of boost on a bone stock motor.'

I would not have such high boost, prob max 14psi.

I don't know yet Steve, something to consider, that's why i started the post initially to see if anyone knew any good places to ask

I know nothing about this company other than what I found on Google, but Gloucester Road Gearboxes appear to be transmission specialists based in Bristol. Might be worth asking them for a quote on upgrading the auto box.

I would also check the price of getting a manual gearbox swapped in place, e.g. the US IS300 manual box, to compare.

Rung Gloucester Road Gearbox who said it wouldn't be something that they'd be willing to take on, not such a good start!
