It says the Bedford meet is this Saturday when it was actually last Sunday. Nothing major as it's already been and gone Smile Everything else seems to be in order!

Aaaah, I was looking at that a couple of days ago actually. I thought maybe it had been moved so people could get their cars detailed and then go to the pub or something. I know exactly how it happened though...because I was using the 'Bedford Meet' text as a template, copying it into others dates and then editing the text, that one must have wandered off from the herd. :Shooting:

But tbh one wrong date isn't bad going considering how little time I had. lol

Just got home from offshore today and opened my one.

I must say I feel a bit mislead , I was told my car was going to be in it ( cars of the month !!!! ) and now I've looked its not . I even told a family member that my car was in it , so thats why I bought 2 . Now I,ve got to give them a calender with just random cars in it. I also had another 8 people wanting one

Is there a reason for this and could you not have said before , or did you just want to make me look stupid ???

As you can tell I'm not very impressed how this has turned out !!!

Lexus IS200 Mods--TTE Supercharger, Tein Superstreet Coilovers & EDFC, 6000K HID Lights, HKS Silent High Power Exhaust, DBA Front Discs, Kenwood DNX9240 Head Unit, 19" Rims, TRD Kit, FIGS Bonnet Struts, Greddy Pillar Pod & Defi Gauges, TTE Red ARBS . And Been To WIM twice

I don't think anyone knew who was going in Moley, looking at cars of the month last year, there weren't many.. certainly not twelve.. and mostly IS200's.. maybe for that reason they had to rethink an initial plan Sad

Next year they intend to start early and let us submit n vote I think, so that'll be fun Smile

There's some lovely cars in there though isn't there, a nice reflection of the variety of japcars we have in our japclub Smile

Well we also put in a request to put in my dad's gt-four, and were told it was "a good idea" but then it was never put in, but it's no fuss, i'm not making a big fuss...

I apologise if anyone feels mislead by the final selection of cars. But Purplewitch pretty much hit the nail on the head with this...

purplewitch I don't think anyone knew who was going in Moley, looking at cars of the month last year, there weren't many.. certainly not twelve.. and mostly IS200's.. maybe for that reason they had to rethink an initial plan Sad

The priority for selection had to be variety, as we needed to put across the image that we cater for as wider selection as possible of different Jap cars. And as has been said, the initial list was about 80% IS200's.

Bear in mind that there will be other media created in the future which may also require member photo's to be used...although I understand this won't make up for the disappointment on this occasion.

Feel free to PM me if you want to discuss this further Moley as I'd hate for a long-standing member to feel put out by this.

Can't remember exactly what was said, but I didn't actually get sent any pics of the above mentioned car...
