Sparkystav Great car mate, can't believe I've not browsed the thread before, love what you've done
toxo I always really wanted a moroso sump pan on my MR2 but they didn't make one for the later engine when I owned the car, due to the US never getting it Glad to see they do now!
Bits look nice!

That'd explain it then. I thought a bit more after posting that and the rev3+ sumps are 2 piece aren't they.
Do the GT4 owners all have the same arguments over which block's best like the MR2 ones do? Like some rev1/2 have a weakness between cyls 2 and 3 but rev3 have a weak corner by the water pump and supposedly that area was reinforced around mid rev4 production but no one's really sure?
Didn't realize you were on here mate. Don't think i ever saw your grey one in the metal, just you wife's at the Elvetham Heath Car Show. I'm the squaddie with the Castrol'd 185 that used to live down the road from you. Sold it now though to a guy in Aldershot so you might start seeing it around again. I'm driving an AE111 Levin now but want to get another 185 one day.
