Some of you may know I have aftermarket alloy power steering and coolant tanks in the Zed as below

My problem is with the power steering tank (the smaller one). The OEM ones don't have a breather hole but these do and no matter what level I have the fluid at it sprays out of the hole when it gets hot, inside (about half way down) there is a plate but it doesn't matter whether the fluid is above it or below it still sprays everywhere (in fact its worse when its below the plate).

Basically what I want to do is spot weld a small curved alloy plate to the lid of the tank so that it can breath but hopefully not make a mess of my bay (diagram below, although please ignore the poor artistry :blushingSmile

My question is, is there anyone out there who can do it for me as neither me or Mike know anyone who can weld, particularly alloy. I need to sort this out as soon as I can as its making a mess and is pointless putting my new hoses on if they're going to get covered in fluid.
