Hi Guys just need some input... I have one of the stainless steel Lexus sill plates fitted to the car. I was unaware that it was wired in, as there was no light in it. How do I get it to light up?
The ones with "Lexus" cut out of them?
They may well be broken, they had a habit of of lasting very long. You can buy replacement "EL paper" from eBay.
Thanks Stav. One thing I forgot to mention is, while coming out of the car I touched the plate and I heard a faint buzz/ buzzing sound, any Idea what this is?
It's the inverter, I'd suggest them are knackered, un screw them and check the wires but they weren't very reliable in the past.
Find what mate?
They'll come with the EL sheets mate.
hi mate check this thread for details of the new plates that were made
