dimis Tony was right, I have the same thing on my car since i fitted coilovers. The only difference my wheels have a very small incline towards the outer of the car (not the center), which i think it should be like that and not the other way round. In any way in both cases you must have the smallest incline otherwise you will damage your tires quickly.

I just checked when my geometry was last set (was when I had TTE lowering springs fitted), and the camber on that wheel was only -0 degrees 52 minutes - so less than one degree of negative camber, which I doubt would be visible ? It may just be an optical illusion, I don't have any reason to believe the geometry would have been messed up (e.g. I haven't hit any kerbs).

Maybe then I am wrong mate and it is just an illusion.

Looking good fella - I'd just thought the same as Dimis when you see the pic of the car from the back - can you take a pic from another angle please fella as it does look like the top of the back drivers side alloy is sticking out further than the bottom?!

It doesn't look anywhere near as pronounced in that pic from the front though so maybe it's just the angle the picture was taken at and it's just a barrel effect from the lens?

I can see what you mean. It doesn't really look like that in the pic from the front though, does it ? I will take another pic tomorrow (too dark now).

Those are your old wheels, aren't they Aido ?

That's right fella, it was Pete Bett's at Thor Racing who'd put them on, then Chris had them and now you - they've not looked that good for a long time though Smile

Yeah as for the camber hopefully it'll be fine, I had similar the other way around on the back due to how low the car was, you can see it in the old pics of my IS and it stripped a set of tyres in 5000 miles!

Yep I agree with Aido, I also had my car too low and I alomst stripped my rear wheels. So I had to increase a bit the height of the car.

Looks fantastic matey

I know what you guys are all talking about with the angle of the wheel, will try get a pic of my car up but I think the same thing on mine every time I see it (the rear wheels sort of look like they're leaning outwards)

Is it something to do with 18" wheels in general? Never thought that when I was on 17s.........

Looking very good mate, :thumbup1:

Was just looking at the pics of my lex when it had them on and not sure if they looked the same on mine as they do on yours (angle wise?),

even though mine was a bit lower?

Edit: just thought have you been for a drive since you jacked the car up before you took the pics? (so that the shocks have settled back to the original position?)

some pics of them on mine at different angles?

I always enjoy seeing those pics of your old car :thumbup1:

Good question, no, I hadn't been for a drive at that point. I've been out in it since, and will take some more pics tomorrow.
