ad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. ad:As per title really. I have unfortunately snapped a wheelnut (half of it still in the hub) on the near side front wheel. I need to drive a couple hundred miles to catch a flight and I leave home about 3am. I made it home without incident, but is it safe to drive if the other 4 are tight?

19-01-2019, 10:01 AM #3yes it's not the end of the world but i would nip to the local toyota dept and get a new one. takes about 1 hour to replace and all you need is a hammer and a open nut m12 1.5 thread and 6 washers and a punch or old screwdriver plus a socket set. first remove the bottom nut holding the break caliper and loosen the top one. you should then be able to lift it up out the way and remove the break disk. from there you will be able to knock out the out pin and then replace it with the new one. use the 6 washer and the open nut to draw it tight

I have to leave home at 3:00 in the morning to get a flight just after 7:00 and it is about 200 miles of motorway (each way). Will it be ok to drive up, and back on Tuesday and then fix it then?

(I know it won't, and know I am just being paranoid!) It's for times like this that I have two cars, they are never both 100% at the same time! But.... I have about 30 minutes to make my decision as I need to make sure the airport parking booking is set the right registration before their office closes for the night!
