sprinter2012 Aah yes I've seen those before, but at £80 it's a bit OTT for a low boost SC installation.

surely it is all down to personal preference. If you want a kit which is pretty much identical to the TTE kit then you pay the £80. You will still be a good £1000 less than buying a second hand TTE kit.

If you want to just boost your car for as cheap as possible then yes get the elbow silicone will do and while you are at it there is no real need for an intercooler so there is more money saved.......

True but the intercooler is looks also not just useful where a single pipe isn't plus silicone pipes can be matched to what ever colour you have under there.

Like said personnel choice but to have the majority of items without the 2k+ price tag

I was actually considering just running the pipework straight across from the charger to the throttle body myself, will save a LOT of time and money fiddling about with custom pipes and stuff.

Plus it means you don't even have to take the bumper off! :Shooting:

It's not a bad idea, but you could be best measuring the inlet temp as it could be detrimental to the car?

I'm sure I read a thread by Jay_Russell where he took temps of his TTE kit intake temps before and after he upgraded his pulley. I'll see if I can find it as it might save me some time measuring it myself.

Hi, everybody.
At once I will forgive forgiveness for my English, I know badly, I transport by means of the dictionary Sad.
I from Belarus. I want to put on the Lexus the compressor, but it is not so easy to find and buy TTE kit, price plus not so please. Read here subjects, saw that people try to copy TTE kit. Too it wanted to try, but as I understood the biggest problem of cradle, all can be solved the rest, even the problem with the air filter can be solved more simply.
And so I have to you a huge request who can share cradle sketch with the approximate sizes. At my place fastenings will make much cheaper, than to look for at you + delivery.
Thanks in advance.

hi mate, the issue is not the actual cradle size its more getting all the angles correct so the belt lines up with the pulleys

what is really needed to make and copy cradles is a jig

knowing the approximate sizes of a cradle, by means of good hands it is possible to make a cradle that the pulley and a belt were to one line.
Simply, without starting data to start to try to do a cradle not really.
Can at someone there are approximate sketches and the sizes. I will be very grateful
