I did Speedfreaks car recently, i think it took me around 2 hours all in. Luckily his struts came aparts quite easily, so it does depend on circumstances a bit.

are there problem areas to watch out for ? a mecanic friend told me he would do it but his books listed 5hr job which he thought was a lot and wonderd if there was any problem areas.

I dont recall there being any issues at all. They come off pretty easily, we WD40'd all nuts/bolts when we started and it all came apart without any problems. 5 hours seems a long time to me

All i did was fit them! I have no idea about IS200's or what parts are best. I think i fitted Speedfreaks with TRD or TTE springs iirc. Ill change your thread title to see if anyone else can help

Did mine in about 2.5 hrs working on my own? they do come apart pretty easy and think the hardest part for me was getting the shocks off due to limited space? but with the new lower springs fitted they go back on a lot easier :thumbup1: mine will be coming off again very soon  mine has the Koni springs with Koni adjustable shocks, but i don't rate the shocks one bit, they knock very badly!

I would have said 2-3 hours all in, IF everything comes apart and goes back together easily and as it should. If you do hit any problems, they could slow you down considerably though.

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:
