Ecu speed
Ecu speed
Not sure if this comes up in the Engine section but I'm looking at using dashcommand with a wifi obd adapter.
Now i gather that the refresh rate and lag depends massively on the speed of the ecu, and that Toyota Ecu's are some of the fastest, but does anyone know how much lag I'm likely to get?
I'll be using an Iphone 4, displayed on the Pioneer Appradio, via Obd Wifi.
Does anyone else have experience of any of the above?
why not buy one of the units from the seller on here. i think he had a test section for them as i got mine from here. http://www.speedview.co
toxo Most likely the OBD adaptor. The scantool.net and PLX devices can read over 60 PIDs per second. Other adaptors are slower.

lex2oos IIRC it uses ISO9141-2 protocol... thats all i can say.I'm pretty sure that's the slowest OBD2 protocol.
