Well a few weeks ago I had a dyno run at SPC - I have toyed with not posting this info as I wanted to sell the car at the time and bad power threads are not helpful, but probably keeping it now I can't bear to sell it after all the work thats been done.

Max Power 244.7bhp. at 1 bar boost.

There is a reason it is low on power, the most obvious one is the air intake temp sensor on the inlet manifold had failed at the time of the dyno run, therefore the ECU is getting an inlet temp reading of well over 120C, rather than the 20c when it was tuned so the ignition advance is well out therefore not making power. Not had a chance to dyno again because of the issue below.........

The gearbox has also developed a fault - the main inlet shaft bearing has finally decided to wear out. It was a bit noisy when it was serviced last year I think the extra power was a bit much for an already weak bearing - the solution is an Altezza 'box I picked up on Ebay for...........wait for it...................£50:lol:

Oh well it will all be fixed early next month, when TGT have a gap to get it back in, car still drives fine no issues or problems apart from the above bearing that makes a noise and a vibration.

OH nearly forgot: The coffee at SPC is great, the service is top notch and the knowledge is vast. I can't wait to visit again and get an independent power run showing 280 to 300 BHP.

A rattle/grind when coming off throttle, and a vibration when accelerating and cruising, you can't hear it unless you are driving the car - it is almost silent on the ramps even at speed - have a listen on Sat.

The altezza box is only because of the price. The part numbers of the actual 'box are identical although the bell housing is clearly different, but to use the bell housing I will have to change the fly wheel as the teeth are cut at a different angle and the starter won't fit on the front. So keeping my existing bell housing to save £'s.

Hmm sounds like mine, needs a load to appear.

Is it at all speeds or 40mph plus?

Yes above 75/80 it is really loud and the vibration is very noticeable.

normal driving round town it is fine (mostly).
