Anyone using GROM for Android on here?
Anyone using GROM for Android on here?
I'm getting a new phone next week (Sony Xperia S) which will mean I can sell the iPod Touch as it has the same 32GB memory, and I can't be bothered to keep updating playlists on both devices.
So I need to get a new GROM that has USB instead of iPod control, and while looking for this on the GROM website I saw that the new GROM units now support Android control via USB with a special new app they brought out.
And I was wondering if there is anyone who has used an Android device through a GROM before who could comment on how easy it is to use etc. ?
Because the iPod control is very easy to use, and I'd hate to switch to the new Android version only to be faced with hard to navigate menus and awkward controls.
Or maybe if anyone that has a GROM with USB and an Android would be willing to try it out and let me know before I splash out on a new GROM.

Didn't know that existed but does sound interesting. Seems to have mixed reviews on the google play store but reading the comments might be that people aren't using it properly as there are a number of 5 star reviews.

toxo I now have one fitted to the '2 but I bet you aren't interested any more
I did actually end up buying one in the end, and it worked okay although the App was a little bit hit and miss. Hopefully they've iron out the bugs by now though!

I'm not using their app, as of standard Android 4.3 it uses USB streaming so I'm using Google's Play Music app instead from my Nexus.3 Guest(s)
