These look like the ones that popped up on that German website a while ago, if they are the same then no, they are not ok for UK roads!

I'm sure there is a way of getting the beam pattern to point the correct way for UK spec. Search through eBay you will come across a few US sites that have projector lights for the IS in RHD guise.

You just need to find out if the headlamps have horizontal adjustment - some of the aftermarket ones do to enable RHD and LHD use.

horizontal adjusment has nothing to do with RHD and LHD beam patterns...

But why you want to have those lights? to use HID? because of projectors? or the silly led strip?
if you have your oem lights, do a projector retrofit. check out theretrofitsource.com, they have kits. easy DIY and you will have superp light output and Bi-xenon feature....

Not really anything to do with what you mentioned, its just my O/E lights are a bit skanky, the lenses are clouded and ive tried polishing and buffing them and makes not a lot of difference.
I just thought a new set of lights would make a change and wanted to see if something other than O/E would look good, which i think these do.

than you might have done it wrong. I have seen how really bad headlights get restored to a mint condition... mines too...

there was a really good guide somewhere here or on LOC... I think P.Lindblom was the creator, but might be wrong...

this actually tells you everything you need to know
start with lowest grit and keep sanding untill you have all imperfections out, finer grits will smooth out scraches left by previous grits when finished with 2000-2500 grit apply polish of you choice and polish untill happy with the result...
take your time, keep it wet, sand only in horizontal and vertical motions and good luck!
