my Gen7
my Gen7
well after all this time, i am now back with the modding bug. i have just started to do some wrapping on the interior so will post up some photos if it turns out any good lol. i have a meeting with AeroKit on monday to sort out the front of the car, and test fit the greddy front lip. then its off to the spray shop for it to be sprayed. it should all start coming back to a show condition soon i hope. the poor thing need some TLC
Well I have had a go but didn't know that I ordered a fabric carbon wrap not a vinyl but it turned out ok. So some pics see what you think.
And the end results
I'm happy with them and will get some more to do some other interior bits.
Looks good mate, the fabric stuff is good for reasonably flat surfaces without many contours. I've used it for my roof for example.
thanks guys, i want to order some more now and start to replace the bits i have flocked. i think it will give it a nice new look.
right, im into the modding big time again i have just ordered some new 3D carbon nunber plates so it will match my graphics. and also ordered some hubcentric spacers, 20mm rear and 10mm fronts. the greddy lip test fit was all good, so now just got to wait two weeks for the lip to be made, then test fit again. i have decided to get the TRD side skirts to go with the lip, and will be wrapping them in dark blue carbon, so just waiting for that to turn up to see what the colour looks like against the blue of my car.
i am now coming to JAE so should have it all finished for then
Well with this weather it would be rude not to wash the car. So gave it a good go over with the DA.
She is getting back to her old self, when the kits on she should look really well.
well the car is off the road for the weekend now, should be getting it back monday. its in having the bottom end done. she is getting on a bit now, its having all new seals fitted a new fidanza flywheel, with a stage2 clutch. gearbox oil change and new drive shaft seals.
really looking forward to getting it back to see how it has improved things. next is an apexi power fc so i can get a map on it and see if we can start to push the bhp up. the stage one cams make a massive improvement on low down torque so with the light weight flywheel it should be so much better.
i also had its last test fit on the C-one front lip last night so that should be here in the next week or so. just need to get it all painted and fitted. really looking forward to JAE now to show it all off. i have had some more goodies turn up so loads of pics coming when i have fitted them.
ok got some pics to add to this,
my new flywheel
and clutch
also added some spacers to the rear as my wheels looked like they are hiding
i also found some new wheel nuts that are a perfect match to the wheels so will be fitting them before Modified Live.
should look good with this lip
i also had a friend make me up some new graphics for the tops of the washer jet and the break fluid tops ect.
and thats about it for now.
nice bunble of goodies there daz :thumbup1:
