Cheers Phil! Oh yes she'll be at JAE come rain or shine Big Grin

And cheers eog and Dave Smile it was so unexpected, so when a mate of mine said "guess who's white Toyota I saw in PPC today?" I took about 10 minutes listing off Toyota owners until I got to myself  Really was a pleasure to see her in there - next up is a push for a full blown feature!

Brake lines fitted up today with pretty well no issues! I'm really impressed with the kit as well seeing as everything is lovely stainless steel, so they're going to last ****** years!

Next up is the suspension bushes but tomorrow will likely be spent making a hench bush removal tool. The one I made years ago worked.... once. So this time I'm using some heavy gauge tube, high tensile threaded rod and thick clamping faces on the tube ends.

We're going large this time!

It's been considered but there are two major issues in my mind:

1. Setting fire to the car - I've done it twice already and it's never fun

2. Weakening the Components - If I knacker the suspension rods/wishbones it costs slightly less than a rocket launch to by new kit in, and it wouldn't get noticed until the metal prematurely fatigued anyway.

And my Threaded Rods got delivered today so the bush pulling tools are now complete!

Brilliantly successful day today - I got all of the bushes out and replaced without much hassle, it really was much easier than I thought after we fabbed up a slide-hammer and the right diameter tubes.

Rear Hubs both done:

Lower Arms done:

We pulled and replaced 11 bushes in total. Big Grin

The only let down was the last 19mm bolt for the front N/S Lower Arm; the captive nut separated and now we have to cut the subframe and weld in a new nut.

Tomorrow I'm handling the sub-frame, master cylinder, headlight levels and exhaust at which point she should pass with no issues.
