TTE supercharger kit for sale
The time has come for me to sell my beloved supercharger kit.
I will be 100% honest in the description so you know EXACTLY what you are getting.
Due to insurance changes over here it has not become viable for me to keep the kit on the car, especially seeing as I can insure an RS6 for less, compared to my modified IS200!
Firstly some history about this kit:
I bought the kit at a JAE Show some years ago, maybe 7 years, im not sure, until recently it was been faultless.
One day driving i heard some terrible noises and it was from the charger - charger was dead.
I bought a replacement charger from Patrik Lindblom as I had something like an MOT due in the next month and the charger had to be in place, unfortunatly when the charger arrived from Patrik 1 of the mounting lugs had been damaged in the post and was cracked :thumbdown:
i disconnected the pulley clutch on the broken supercharger for my car test while I had the damaged lug milled and crack tested.
So at the present day:
The kit for sale consists of 2 compressors, 1 from Patrik that I have never fitted or ran, and my old damaged charger, this is just the core unit. Inlet/bypass and outlet and drive pulley has been transferred to the unit from Patrik.
For sale in the standard kit:
supercharger bought from Patrik
all pipework
supercharger cradle ( the rear engine brace tab has snapped off, as happens on the majority of cradles but TTE says its not actually required.)
bypass has the mouse trap style spring upgrade
bypass cable and brackets
original rubber hoses and hose clamps for original IC
standard pulley, belt and tensioner
Patrik will send a brand new black box ECU directly to the buyer
original TTE fibreglass airbox
original TTE intercooler
modified engine top plastic cover
all mounting hardware, bolts etc seperated into bags and attached to the relevant items. cradle has 1 bag, supercharger has 1 bag, airbox has 1 bag, throttle body inlet has 1 bag - you get the idea. :biggrin:
modified exhaust heat shield has aircraft spec heat resistant padding riveted with aircraft spec cherry rivets and high temp sealant - this is under the charger so you dont see it.
fitting instructions in paper format
EXTRAS IN THE KIT:
old defective supercharger core unit (no inlet/bypass or outlet)
2 spare drive pulley bearings from Nachi - the original manufacturer
spare drive pulley
drive pulley and bearing reataining circlips
full spare set of drive pulley bolts - these are special aircraft turbine engine bolts, so if you drop 1 and loose it you cant pop down to B&Q for a replacement. - use an 8mm 12 point socket to remove/install
length of blue silicone hose to replace the original rubber hoses - never used.
silicone adaptors for the larger intercooler also never used
Brand new Larger intercooler 540 series 140mm width, offers about 50% more surface area i believe? No need to modify the crash bar with this aftermarket intercooler
You will need to buy in addition:
clutch reservoir adaptor, its a standard toyota part and is about £10, i will give you the part number, i am not removing this from my car as I simply dont have the time to refit the original clutch reservior and bleed the clutch and brakes.
2 rubber isolators if you use the original intercooler, ebay number 130503655707 1 of them ripped off during removal so best to replace the set.
i would replace the hose clips if it was me as they are old, i think 1 slips a bit.
Regarding the damaged mounting point on the supercharger:
It was cracked after postal damage, the damaged area was milled away and a spacer made to allow the use of the original bolts.
ALL mounting points/lugs have been tested as being crack free. These were tested using High Frequency Eddy Current (HFEC) this is the aircraft industry standard for crack detection and will show ANY crack.

You can see the crack is right through the lug and extends into the bore.

I will post this kit and will consist of 3 packages due to size and weight.
1 box for the superchargers
1 box for the larger intercooler
1 box for everything else
Total weight is 45KG :ohmy: If you dont want the old defective supercharger you can remove 10kg but its still 3 boxes.
Kit will be delivered by DHL using tracked/registered post and is normally delivered within 4-5 days or quicker.
I am located in Switzerland but will post the kit from Germany so there are no issues with the UK customs as it EU to EU and therefore customs free.
As I do not know the full history of, and have not run this supercharger I am not offering ANY warranty or guarantee. None is offered or implied
All I can honestly say is that it spins freely without any noises when turned as fast as possible by hand.
Cost: £2400 fixed, and includes the delivery by DHL. All items will be individually wrapped and well protected
I can take additional photos of anything if you wish but the kit is currently being stored at my friends house and he is away for a week, but the photos above cover all the important things.

That price is including shipping from Germany using dhl so I don't think that's to bad if in honest the fact it comes with / chargers one that you could get re done etc

but i have notdone that as i am straight and direct so people know exactly what they are getting.
If people outside of UK are interested I can ship to anywhere in the EU at the same price.
If its somewhere in Germany the price will be a bit cheaper because shipping is cheaper

7000TTD is £700 yep keep dreaming, maybe it comes true one day.
