Suitable for JDM MK2 Rev2+ MR2 or most other Japanese cars using electronic speedos - currently fitted to my car and working perfectly but I have no real use for it. This will convert your speedo to reading in MPH if it currently reads in KPH. It will also remove the 112mph speed limiter present on a lot of Japanese cars.

Installation consists of unscrewing 3 of the 4 screws that hold the speedo gauge in, and attaching the wires (already terminated in ring connectors) as shown in the photo below. Then snip 1 wire in your dash loom and attach the yellow wire from the converter to it. Simples!

Same as this one:

Picture of actual unit installed on my instrument cluster:

(Note this ad is just for the small black box with the blue sticker on it, just the speedo converter not a whole set of clocks)

And I'll include an MPH sticker to go over the KPH lettering on your existing speedo.

£15 delivered, half the price of eBay!

Ah gotcha. The best ones are 'Stef Derner Clamping Delimiters' if you can find one. This wasn't one (and is sold now) but this type can muck up the power steering in the MR2 sometimes. Stef Derner's one's don't as they are specifically designed for the MR2, whereas this one was generic to any jap car.

What the generic ones do is leave the power steering on full pelt until 80mph, so when you're crusing on the motorway you still have full assistance. This makes the front end REALLY light - it's quite sketchy at those speeds.
