Sent the guy a msg this morning that i want to change it to a usb one, i can't use the Bluetooth one as i have an iPhone so will have to use the wifes laptop for the time being in which case i will need to download a bit of software that will allow me to use the laptop instead which i got from the ebay advert will see if it works otherwise will try find a working copy of scantool or something.
