All the euro guys swear by the dark green injectors that are used on the 1ZZ, which are part number 23250-22040 DENSO.

The boost generated is directly linked to the pulley size:

130mm = 0.3bar
140mm = 0.4bar
150mm = 0.5bar

The optimum setup seems to be a 140 or 145mm pulley with the 1ZZ injectors which is just straight swap parts, no mapping involved and will give you 220-230hp.

I'm yet to get price and availability on the injectors from Toyota but they are about £20 each on eBay USA.

nice shout sprinter,
i may get some of them,as i say im running around 0.4-0.43 boost and have never realy noticed any problems apart from maybee a bit lean on top end but not so much that its that noticable,i think it may be down to the fcd more than anything.
i may have to invest in one of patricks boxes and see if it makes a diffrence.Big GriniscoStu:

The euro guys say that even a 145mm pulley is perfectly safe on stock injectors as long as you stay away from the redline. So it should be fine for 'spirited driving'.

But in the interests of safety, they say the injectors should come very soon after the pulley upgrade.

And I'd definitely get one of Patrik's black boxes as everyone on here who has replaced a FCD with one has had nothing but praise for the difference :thumbup1:

They also say that even with a remap, the 160mm pulley is just too much boost for the 1G-FE engine which a couple of our guys run.

Just had a more specific response on the setup I'm looking at from one of the euro guys, with a 140mm pulley, decat manifold and 1ZZ injectors you can expect 230-240hp at the flywheel.
