Bought one!
Since I posted a bunch of question threads about what model/spec/etc to go for, it would be rude not to post the outcome, so here's what I just returned home with;
52 plate Sport, manual box, all standard, loads of history/documentation, 3 keys (well, 2 and a half since the casing on one of them cracked off completely, so had to be separated - and another has got a couple cracks in the casing) and in really nice condition (I hope!) Few surface scuffs here and there - but then it is 10 years old and has nearly 85k on the clock, but it's really straight, drives beautifully (super quiet!). Quite chuffed with it! Will revisit that statement after having it a few months and filling the tank, haha!
So que an onslaught of "how do I...", "can I...", and "will this..." threads in the future, haha!
First thing I need to get sorted are the keys... Two are the black, three button keys (one of which is now just a repaired "fob" with the key blade separate, and the other is still in one piece, but beginning to crack, so will need replacing. The grey, two button one is fine, although for some reason, although the blade works in the ignition, it doesn't want to fit in the actual locks on the doors and tailgate. Which is fine at the moment, but if the battery dies in it, then I'm in trouble! None of the locks, on the boot, doors or ignition have been changed, just for some reason the grey key doesn't slide in properly to the exterior locks...
Nice tidy example mate. As for the keys buy a new one off eBay. The fans are interchangeable between cases.
Thanks Stav. I was looking at the keys on eBay. I take it I just take mine apart, swap the buttons and gubbins over, then get someone to cut the blank to my profile? Where's a good place to get them cut? Google searches suggest locksmiths, key cutters, etc, but with varying success (some don't work at all, some work ok, some are perfect, etc)

Nice, looks a clean example

So are both the black, three button, keys "master" keys then? If not, and only one is, how do I know which of the two is the "master" key?
I've ordered a blank off ebay (went for a VW/Audi style flip key, thinking that with that there won't be an exposed blade to get caught, bent, whatever, reducing the chances of it breaking again). If I can successfully get the blade cut to the profile of the master key, so that it works in all locks and ignition, I'll get another to fix the 2nd black key that is beginning to break
