Full beam is awesome - regular beam, not so awesome... HID conversion?
Noticed the other night that full (high) beam is awesome - really lights the road up, but regular headlight, not so awesome. I mean, it's not bad, but it's not great.
Is a HID kit a good idea? If so, is it easy to fit? And what sort of price should I be looking at? Naturally, eBay has kits on there for under £30, but knowing nothing about HID, is a £30 HID kit like buying £1.50 wiper blades - ie, ****?
Super easy fit and a few people have the cheap kits with no issues.
Sometimes the power plug will need to be installed the wrong way around - unless manufacturers have solved this issue.
This is the one I referring to - although it says up to '01 - and mines a '52...

High beam doesn't need to be HID - they take a little time to heat up so not ideal. Besides HIDS are good enough not to need high beam that often.
do it properly and install some projectors, at least that way you won't blind people with your badly scattered HID mayhem.
Matt_C So would the kit I linked to be right/correct? Fit it in place of the regular (dipped) beam, keep the stock high beam (what about side lights? They stay the same?)
