Yeah don't worry about that mate you just want a plain old hid kit.

I have he of the dual kits in mine but that's because I've fitted the cold air feed. Cars like the fiesta st have these type of lamps.

So which do I want stav? The one jomo linked to (9006 HB4, £19) or the one I linked to, which is £24, but mentions motorised bulbs?

Is the £19 jobbie gonna be a simple plug n play? I really don't wanna get into cutting into wiring - I'd rather just plug it in an it work, and if need be can remove and it be as before without any mods/rewiring

I got both of my sets off ebay via the far east lol.

The H4 motorised one are for car the use the same bulb for highs and low beams but the lexus has separate high and low bulbs, so just get the cheap sets to start with then you can see if your going to like the hids (don't know anyone yet who don't)

Installing is easy as, remove old bulb fit new hid, find a nice place to home the ballest and plug it in to the feed that went to orig bulb then plug hid to ballest childs play.
Al tho some times the plug that feeds the power may have to be turned 180 to make it work!

If i get chance ill make you a nice vid lol...

I'm just deliberating - £19 set from Singapore, or £28 set from UK. Might not have hassle with either, but if I do, wondering if the extra £9 is worth having a UK seller to deal with...

The uk seller has the old style ballasts in their kit!

Their ballasts are a polished steel finish which rust and look awful after a few months under the bonnet where it will get damp and rust.

But you dont have to wait too long to get them.

In both kits there are extra wire's, you dont need these, stick them in your tool box or chuck them.

In fact i'v just found a better set from the far east.

These are the same as i have, just they are black ballasts and i have silver.
