Things done :- SPC turbo kit (custom), Blueflame cat back with custom tip, B&M shortshift, grooved discs all round, Mintex pads all round, OEM wheels in white,Denso ik22s, Calipers painted black,04 spec rear lights, Tein basic coilovers, Helix organic clutch, Fan washer jets, late spec headlights (dark), Carbon bonnet, Hotchkis anti roll bars, Front arm rest, Top box from late spec.
why would you want to use the std rod?

LEX11S why would you want to use the std rod?
cos' I am using the stand 1G-fe rod as a sample to custom make a forged rod..the lentgth/pin hold and other specs are all same except the forged one is beam..
so I am wondering if standard 1g-fe rod can fit a 1G-gte piston.
hope someone can help

i just used the 1ggte rod and piston in the end

As fair as i know they do i got told that i could use the 1ggte rods with the 1gfe piston

Thanks mate,now I know what I can do..I can keep custom make forged rod which absolutly copy stock 1g-f rod data but just I beam...then sell my 1g-gte stock rod. Thanks again,mate.
