fpr depressuring
fpr depressuring
hi recently fitted a fpr thing was fine now seems to loose pressure wheni turn the car off so this means the car has to pump for a few mins to get the go go juice to the engine dont wanna have this all the time its a pain in the puds any help would be gladly recived the regulator off the pump i put a rubber hose on it clamped on an then put a bolt in outher end an clamped that in so only bit i can think is the fpr iscoStu:iscoStu:iscoStu:
On mine I filled the end with tank repair putty, then crushed the end and covered it with more putty.
It shouldn't have to pump for minutes though. I have my ecu to prime for 3 seconds but it generally doesn't need it.
Through the diaphragm?
That's not good as it'll blow back Into your manifold
Nah the top adjusting screwy bit had a o ring between the fpr an the washer its managed to get wee bit mangled have bodged it for now to see if that fixes it. Should know tomorrow while your talking the pipe that's removed from the fuel pump to take it out of the tank what did you do with it?
What pipe? I'm confused. Have you got a pic?
Erm you should still have that connected to the jet pump,
The return to the tank should connect to one of the side ports, and that pipe to the other side port. The jet pump sucks the fuel from the other side of the tank to keep it even.
