Attending members voted at follows:
Best Standard Car - Owen's Red Honda Civic (friend of Speedfreek)
Best Modified Car - SparkyStav
Best ICE - SparkyStav (although our Marquee nearly won!)
Best of Show - Demon - The gorgeous Smurfmobile!
Most Helpful Member - Almost Finished
The admin team thanked the following:
Sprinter and Speedfreek for the marketing/design etc work done this year
TransitVanPhil & Phoenix for their catering services (We renamed him at the event as he doesn't have a Firebird lol)
JapGirl for promo work at events
Club Secretary then thanked the following:
Bandit for all his amazing photography and pictures, for all the work he does behind the scenes and Moderating the forum
SparkyStav for Moderating Skills Extraordinaire
Rabster for .. Well we did a huge thank you thing for Rabster last year with everyone leaving messages in a book for him so we didn't want to go overboard and embarrass him, so this year we thanked him for getting us excellent stands at the events, which he achieves by forking out himself for our tickets at least six months in advance!
Then we had some Moderator/Admin chosen awards as follows:
Most Stickered Car - Leztec
Lowest Car - Ormi
Loudest Car (in every way) - Celica Monster
Loudest Member (this nearly became Wettest Member after the Boss threw her in our swimming pool but we knew you'd get the wrong idea) - Spanky
Most Up For It Newbie - to Mikey Bean for enthusiasm and sorting a fancy dress competition
Most Worked on Car by a Girl - Voodoo Vix
Farthest Travelled - Ormi
Most Outrageous Car - DaveSKyline
Loudest Couple - went to ..... wait for it ... Speedfreek and Fozzy!!!
There was one final award that the attending members voted on for Most Unloved car
This nearly obviously went to Rabsters 350Z but in the end upon a recount and double check it was pipped at the post by TransitVanPhil's transit which spent the day being drawn on with burnt sausages !!
Everyone who was there deserved an award for something - great people, great weekend, great time but we'd have been there all night and missed the fireworks so Congratulations to everyone who got trophies and medals and certificates - show us your pictures of your cars with them on
