My headlights look like they were bathed in vegetable soup I can't really tell if it's on the inside or out

Does anyone have a step by step guide to removing the front lens so I can wipe them/ clean them up

Common problem Jez, just wet / dry them and polish like crazy.

Alternatively there is a guide for splitting them on here to paint the insides.. and I'm guessing you have paint spare? Smile

Common problem Jez, just wet / dry them and polish like crazy.

brasso works a treat a common problem with plastic headlights..or some g3 and a buff will make them come up like new..

I can recommend either tcut or g1 techiq polish on a medium pad to rid yourself of yellowing/dulling of the lens. Took me all of 20 mins the other weekend to go from something that looked like it had been sprayed for 1970's French roads to clear and bright like new

Mine aren't particularly dull (like the foggy kinda dull) but they do appear to have fine scratches on them, which you can only see with the lights on. So I'm wondering if regular t-cut will help with that, or if I need something stronger like G1/G3?

We G3'd the headlights on one of Sam's cars:

That the sort of thing you're looking for? It does take the top layer off the plastic so it means you need to redo it fairly often to retain the look. You can also use metal polish like brasso as ormi said or autosol. Or supposedly toothpaste but I've never tried it!

I think the pictures do it more justice or I'm too OCD but I'm still not happy, maybe a new set is in order

I T-Cut mine today, not much of an improvement than before to be honest. I really don't think I can be arsed to go down the whole wet sand route either. Might try baking soda, since someone on here had good results with that.
