Just how long did a tank of fuel last? <>200 miles?? - probably better then the merc.

jimxms I only had a quarter tank to play with but when I filled up today it was quoting 230miles on just over half a tank. I assume this is complete nonsense, but if it gets anywhere close at all I'd be amazed.
The Merc was ridiculous on fuel to the point where I wondered if it had a major leak. Sitting in slow moving traffic and watching the MPG drop from 18...to 10....to 6 all in the space of a few minutes was just depressing lol.

Hah nice try sprinter :p
Wheels are definitely happening at some point, but its a matter of waiting until some clean 19" JDM deep dish split rims ones come up for sale. The car has brand new tyres on it at the mo (at £210 a corner) so I'd like to use those :p
Lowering can be done on the stock air ride by tricking the sensors, so that's nice and easy to do.
Supercharger is NEVER going to happen. I'm not going that route again even if someone paid for it to be fitted to my car. It's just too much faffing around for a daily driven.
I am however interested in an intake for it, but I have a feeling that as its got two very large air filters and a massive air scoop as OEM, anything aftermarket will probably loose power?
Worth a shot
What you've got planned sounds like a sensible idea though, just make it look good but keep it practical. And I can totally understand your reluctance to charge it.
I'm not exactly sure on the intake layout of the 460, I think on previous models it was easy enough to add an induction kit as the TB was central on the engine quite near the front.
But if the OEM setup looks okay airflow-wise, then a couple of K&N drop ins and some reflective heat tape on the underside of the airboxes like you did on the AMG will probably do the trick. I actually swapped back from my induction kit to the OEM airbox with heatwrapping after seeing your AMG thread.
