What's the verdict on these? Was thinking about a v3 for 1uzfe control. Anyone got a clue about them at all? Not sure how well an IS200 would function with these as a standalone in terms of A/C, heating etc. Not bothered about auto box control as I can apparently just wire in a transmission controller.

Might be worth asking the same question on MX5nutz as they are used as the main aftermarket ecu all all turbo fitments on the 5.
Lots of members use them and they all appear happy with them and they are a great bunch of guys that offer help

I've been doing a bit of reading since I posted this, apparently A/C and heater controls are no problem. Not entirely sure about transmission control for an autobox but even if it doesn't work, apparently I can use an external module.

I was just wondering if anyone actually had any experience with how good they were, that's all! MS3 handles 8 cylinders too Big Grin

el_bandido anyone know any good megasquirt tuners?

Would you not be better off finding a good tuner, and then using an ECU they are familiar with, rather than choosing an ECU then hunting for a tuner?

But if you then have to travel halfway across the country for a decent tuner everytime it's a false economy.

I agree. Find a tuner that your happy with and get his (or her) recommended ecu. Most ecus will do most things IMHO.

First choice is a link, but that's going to be the best part of £2000 before I've even sorted out tuning. I need to find out where the megasquirt tuners are anyway, so if anyone knows of some good ones, do tell.
