Hi guyz i am new to the site,and would like help with the removing of the stock cd player and replacing with an aftermarket head unit this is on an x reg is2oo. A step for step quide would be great,with photos will be even better.

Welcome to the club,

Firstly you need to buy a new Facia and Amp bypass cable before you do anything else.

1. Remove the top center air vents above the Radio.

2. Remove the trc/snow and heater seats switches under neath by just pulling it out.

3. You should now see 4 bolts top left/right and Bottom left/right undo them and you can lift forward the radio/AC controls

4. Undo the cables at the back and remove the units.

The next part you need to replace the cable blocks for the radio. Inside the passenger footwell on the outside is the Amp for the radio connect the amp bypass cable and feed that to the center.

Then its pretty easy from there.
