Dave Ellen GS300 engine mounts work but the opposite way round I think..........You also need about £10K
hhmmmmm just love the way you put a price up, it all comes down to if he is goin g to do this or if he takes it some where to get done, if only you knew how much my V8 cost to do

If i was going for an engine swap in an IS, i'd be very very tempted to go the V8 route after seeing Marcus's, just for the noise of the thing, it sounds ****** amazing, plus you can pick up a complete car with engine for silly money off ebay leaving you most of your funds for the conversion itself :w00t:

However he has two engines at the moment inc gearboxes (autos though), ECU and wiring for £2000, one Europe spec and one Jspec.
I think you can do it for a fair price than expected if all you want is just the basic engine in and running!!

06-08-2016, 01:01 AM #17I think the 2JZ-GTE is a good bet on the whole, there is a garage on the MKIV Supra forum who breaks them and also does Supra NA to TT conversions although isn't willing with a Lexus swap.

06-08-2016, 01:06 AM #18Don't forget that there's quite a lot of complex electronics to sort, even to get the basic engine up and running (assuming you want all your dials to work etc).
