Well haven't updated this for a while.

since my last post I've changed the PCV - its still using oil though.

tested a 160mm pulley - it was ****, it didn't run true and snapped a brand new belt after one 3rd Gear pull. It did make 7psi though Smile

I've had the pulley clocked and copied so me and JayJay will have more boost soon.

I bought a replacement set of skirts - they just need paint.

heat wrapped the manifold.

had a straight mid-pipe made ... I hate it, way too loud and way too raspy.

the BBS are being painted should have them in january Smile

that's everything I can remember Smile

I'm going to try and keep this up to date from now on.

Hi mate, what do you mean it did not run true? Was the pulley faulty or not fitted well? Why was the belt snapped? What size of belt did you use?

You should see more that 7psi. I expect around 9psi. I think the belt snapped before you could see a bigger figure. I am running a 150mm pulley and my maximum boost is 7psi currently.

That's good to know Dimis! Hopefully once the new pulley is finished we can see what it will actually make!

The current target is to have everything upgraded and the car mapped before April - but we will see.

ah poop! I saw the picture of it fitted to Jim's Merc on the website and assumed he was happy!

I'll try it with my massive blowby problem and see how it gets on! haha

Well Ive finally fitted the larger pulley.

The guy who turned it down for me made the mounting point a little beefier, great I thought.

Until I tried to fit it ... the studs on the water pump were too short AND wrecked! The threads were really badly stripped.

So I removed them entirely and replaced them with bolts. I ended up having to slacked the alternator belt and the power steering belt to take the tension off so I could put the bolts in straight.

Went to fit the belt aaaaaannnndddd its too small! The seller on ebay must have sent me the wrong size so I've bought another because I bought the small belt like 3 months ago!

Ill get some pics of the pulley when i get a chance, its too dark now.

"You know what? This will decimate all, after, you put bigger injectors in it or more. If we have to, overnight parts from Japan"

The injectors I ordered were shipped this morning and should be in UK tomorrow but I probably won't have them for another 3months knowing UK Customs!

I love Japanese people Smile they are efficient and do as they are asked!

Can't wait to get everything fitted and the car mapped!

Yet another big thanks to Stav for confirming what I thought before I pulled the trigger Smile
