I want to lower the car but am finding it hard to cross ref the number. I would like to lower the car 40mm (1.57in). I konw that the IS300 Sportcross is a little heavier then my AS. Any help would be most appreciated. Thank's Dan

There are a lot of different suspension springs... especially in Japan.

48131-53090 is the front spring for GXE10 wagon in Japan (unknown length)
48131-53010 is the front spring for GXE10 sedan in Japan, SXE10 sedan in Japan, GXE10 sedan in Europe (319.5mm long)
48131-53100 is the front spring for JCE15 wagon in Japan (322mm long)
48131-53130 is the front spring for GXE15 wagon in Japan (348mm long)

In all regions the sportcross/wagon has different suspension struts to the sedan as well, and then the 4wd (xxE15) are also different.

Is that the sort of info you are after? If so I will see if I have it for the rears as well.

In Europe we can also get TTE (or possibly TRD) springs from the dealers which are rebadged Eibach. I think they are a 30mm drop though.

I think when Toyota say length they really mean height. a 348mm long piece of metal coiled up into a spring wouldn't be a very big spring at all!
