Mmmm shiny!
I've been really lucky and managed to get on track at Blyton again and havent got around to looking at any of my pic's yet!
It was a great day out as always and what made it better was that a few lads made the effort to come along and spend a few hours (in the freezing cold) having a chat/laugh at my attempts out on track!
The track was very quiet and cold so it was a LOT more slippery than my last outing. There was a nice Audi R8 V10 which was sadly being driven by a retard as myself and Andy in his KO4'd A3 were able to hunt him down and pass him on a few occasions!
I did over 100 miles on track so it was well worth the £100 and it was all for charity anyway.
My car has come away from the day needing new discs and pads all round along with a fluid change and also 4 destroyed tyres. All in it was an expensive day but worth it none the less!
These are the only pics ive sorted out yet.......
A few of the VAG lads.
A video made by my mate Andy of LVSR. Before anyone says anything, yeah I know my hands are all over the wheel but the video from mine was taken in the afternoon once my brakes were shot (you can hear them) so I wasnt giving it the full beans anymore!

I've also been sorting out my 'new' R32 rear calipers to go on the car next week. Being R32's they obviously started off Blue so I (along with the help of a friend) had to sand them down, Prime/flat then top coat them.
Taken apart and sanded down.
Masked up and getting their first coat of Primer.
Top Coat complete and masking removed.
Just cannot wait to get these fitted along with the other bits on the brakes should make for a nice improvement as the rear discs will then be 310mm!
So, today I finally got around to sorting out the ride height on my motor. It's going in for some work next week so it'll get realigned again then.
I'm happy with its stance now and think it'll settle a little more over time too. I'm so happy to have the new wheels fitted too, I love them!
So are those 2 pots an upgrade?
bignod00 They're just an upgrade in size from 286mm to 310mm on the rear brakes! I've got some 370mm two piece floating discs with 6 Pots for the front in the pipeline!

Still can't get over how nice those wheels are. lol
