Yes you did read the tittle right lol

I'm looking for the vauxhall nova rear arch kit as I think this will help me in moulding the rear arch on the stagea to match the front r34 kit.....

Strangely enough, It was around that time when I last saw a Nova with the wide arch body kit fitted. It was in a scrap yard somewhere near Peterborough !

Actually, Do you mean the wide Arch kit, Or are you on about 3 door rear arch repair panels? Neither's going to be easy to find, But at least the body kits panels wouldn't be full of rust and filler.

If it's the "Lancia Delta Evo 2" type of stepped arches you're after, Have you considered hacking a pair of glass fibre rear Mk2 Capri "X pack" arches about to fit ?......

They're going to be easier to get than the Nova wide arches (Smith and Deakin still have the molds for the kits).

Scotty B.

Air filter by K+N, Exhaust by Japspeed, Brakes by Mintex......... And a scuffed rear arch by my sister. Huh

Those arches are available from Capri Care, the owner lives in Furzton Milton Keynes lol.
The garage is based in the middle of nowhere on the way to Buckingham..........

totally worn out and broken, shouting 'Holy ****, WHAT A RIDE!'"

the Nova arches are easy to get hold of, many rally companies still sell them, although looking at the websites, they want to sell the full kit at over £600.

Might be worth getting in touch and seeing if they will sell seperatly, but I think those Capri arches will suit it better

I have a mate from the midlands who works on rally cars who fancies a challenge so may make them from scratch which will be cool with it being the rear arches I can still do all the other work on the car and the arches can be done at a late date due to the surface area of body work not being huge due to the way the car is designed which should make life easier

This is the look I'm going for

This is the actual units that will cost an arm and a leg possibly a kidney too

I have to admit it does look worth it but as I'm getting rid of the rear door handles I have lots of filling to do anyway lol

In a different thread I mentioned a Capri I once saw mid build that I think you would literally kill people (Lots of people !!!) to own !

It combined the Mk3 Capri body with twin turbo Supra running gear. When I saw it they were still at the stage of chopping out floor sections and grafting in bit's of Supra floor and inner wings*.

It wasn't a big company, But they specialised in building space framed cars for the track use.

I can't remember where they were, But because of the area I used to cover, I would assume it was somewhere south west of Bristol....... But when I say south west of Bristol, I mean somewhere between Bristol and Lands end.

As I said before, I wish I made note of where the place was so I could have popped in to see what the "Capra" had ended up like.

Scotty B.

(*Before you get all psychotic about him cutting up a Supra, Apparently it had been rear ended hard enough that the roof had buckled and the doors wouldn't shut. He told me that the shell was way beyond help.)
