Denso ballasts are considered to be the best OEM HID ballasts due to their compact size, stability and very quick warm up time.
In fact no other ballasts are as fast as these.

The "problem" with OEM ballasts is that they are not waterproof because they a usually mounted inside the headlight.
This is not an issue when they're used in a car originally equipped with HID lights but can be a huge problem when used in a retrofit (HID headlight conversion).

These ballasts come from a low mileage Range Rover, they were in excellent condition. They have been opened and fully waterproofed with MG Chemical's Thermally Conductive Epoxy which is one of the best materials for encapsulating electronic equipment. You will not have any issues using these ballasts outside of the headlight.

This is how the ballasts looked before the encapsulation:

As you can see, moisture and dirt will eventually damage the exposed electronic components and the ballast will fail.
This is the thermally conductive encapsulating epoxy used:

Both ballasts come with 9006 (HB4) connectors which I've siliconed and can easily be removed.
I can also supply original Denso power cords.

On the output, you have the original Denso D2 bulb plug.

These ballasts are meant to power D2(S/R) bulbs:

85V AC, 35W

Finally, these can be used as replacement for a broken Denso Koito DDLT002 or as a high quality, waterproof solution for your headlight conversion.
