phaebo Sounds great! You are definately pushing your car to the limits.

Yes you might be right. I am pushing a bit the engine to the limits, but Rabster and a couple of others members who have/had a turbo setup with around 280bhp did not have any problems. If you have a good map setup and you respect the car and do not drive all the day with the foot down I believe it should be ok. By the way, I know an Austrian owner who fitted a 165mm pulley with a stupid map and also increased the rev limit and had for over year in this mode and the car did not break. On the other hand he did not have a water/meth kit and from what i know none has used it on a TTE sc kit. We will see how it goes and what numbers we will have at the end of the day...

yeah you have driven with 248 engine hp for some time now and it is still allright. And you could be right about respecting the car and not always have the foot down.

your topic project is inspiring me and i am thinking about getting a bigger pulley etc.. too.
question: where did you get the 150mm pulley? i am thinking about getting one.

Thanks mate. I had it custom made. I copied the TTE pulley and increased the outer diameter.

I took the car for a short spin today to check the water/methanol kit. I only used water to ensure first that the system is operating correctly. Well it seems that it is working fine. The system start to work at 3psi, almost the 3rd of the maximum boost. I only forced it once and at 6000rpm I saw 9psi on the boost gauge, but the AFR showed me 13 so I left my foot from the throttle. So I thinkg everything works fine for Friday mapping.

Ok the big day came. I took the car today to the mapper....and the result? 9.5psi boost and 235whp and 28kg of torque. The AFR when the water/meth kit is working is 11.9-12.4.

I believe now I have the most powerful Lexus IS200 with a TTE SC kit fitted in Europe.
