What's JAE like - it's my first time
OK guys i realise this is going to be the Noob'st question ever but i have never been to a show like this let alone JAE, how does this lot work exactly i mean The missus and i will be driing up from Ireland, crossing over to the UK and driving straight through to the show however once we are there, then what?
As far as i know we have weekend tickets but we will be staying at B&B or hotel somewhere nearby also i presume that i will be ?
Also what else is there for uninterested wives that don't want to be stuck looking at cars for 4 days... Like my missus :glare: hock: Is there so alternatives?
Are you not camping with the rest? We have our patch of the field and once you found us, you can set up your tent, polish your car, break out the beer and relax. There's a lot of talking goes on, not all about cars. There's a lot of crazy people in crazy costumes wandering around to watch, there's a fun fair sort of thing and go-karts and a lake. There's a fair few partners there, so chilling out in deck chairs with a good book occurs sometimes.
Even my Mrs likes it.

Moley stayed at a hotel, and almost made it back on time for breakfast once lol.
The whole experience is well worth the time and effort in going, the games are so funny and you may even win something?
Well it seem fortune is smilling on me today maybe i should go play the lottery...
Just been discussing it with the missus, and it seems she is warming up to the idea...
The only thing now is i need a list of things that i will need for "roughing it" at JAE, can you guy help?
Also for the camping at the show do i need to pay extra for that or is it included in the price of the tickets? it prolly was said but can't find where it was said to confirm
Make your tent nice n homely, a flower pot for by the door, comfy bed and pillows. There are showers on site and still people wandering around in their dressing gowns and towels at all hours of the morning lol.. There are plenty of places nearby if you really don't want to camp. Look up JAE's website and FB page, they've started with activities and events during the weekend already. I've got loads of really funny jokes if she needs cheering up Some people even write funny spec sheets and leave them on peoples cars for everyone else to laugh at .. but I don't know who
Camping is included - we usually do some sort of deal on food for the weekend once we know we have enough ppl to make it worthwhile - that'll be announced later, otherwise there is plenty of food facilities on site and shops, restaurants in the town
