ZAIS200 I'm gonna be doing that one of these days, how was the tunnel train? was it a good experience?
The train was a great experience, 30 minutes and you are on the other side of the channel. Lowered cars can get in aswell (I'm still on stock suspension, but there was a Ferrari 458 Italia in the train without any issues).
Just avoid Belgium! It really is the worst country to drive a car (especially Antwerpen, avoid Antwerpen at all cost).

Which way would you suggest driving then if not through belgium?

When you're going to the Netherlands, you don't have a choice. Prepare for at least 1 hour delay on Ring Antwerpen.
I don't know where you are going. When you're going to Germany, I would advise to Travel through southern Belgium (Charleroi, Namur, Luxembourg).
