would really need to know a budget and what type of HU you want..
6.5" comps at the front with 2 ch amp to drive em (if budgets a prob the n you could use the HU to start with)
single 12" sub sealed if you want SQ, ported if you want volume with monoblock amp
could prob do this for around £600 excl HU with wiring...
what are you thinking and can reccomend you some stuff..
Thinking two 10" sub the one 12" i have.built into custom made box to fit boot.what type amp would power the 10" subs.best to get two amps?head unit thinking pioneer with direct sub outs.might keep the speakers thats with the lex or will the amp cable needed bypass the amp or does it keep that ampworking if you catch my drift.
i would use one amp for the subs or else you may have gain matching issues.
2x10s or single 12 would work fine..
10's are generally quite punchy unless in a very well designed box like aaron has. 12's should drop a little lower and are a good mix of punch and low end rumble.
all comes down to your budget mate and how you want it to sound and what typeof music your into..
just tell him how much you wanna spend lol:p
recipie for disaster!!
stick to a single box mate with one size sub. if you want volume i would say two twelves but thats going to start getting expensive as you will need agood amount of power if they are decent subs..
what do you have now?
lol @aaron.. you know the score mate! all depends on your budget and how much boot space you can live with (or without!!)
£450 can get you Hifonics Brutus 2 x 12"s and 1.2krms amp..
